Product Description of Pigment Violet 1:

Pigment Violet 1 is a triarylmethane xanthene derivative, which gives a red light purple. Both the shade and fastness properties are similar to those of Pigment Violet 2. It usually has higher color strength, vividness, and purer color. The light fastness is half a grade higher than that of Pigment Violet 2, but the ink sample is less resistant to solvents, soaps and creams. Mainly used in printing inks.
